Yves Duport Fleur De Chardonnay Bugey
Aroma: A balance of fruit, zest and minerality. Not as buttery as California Chardonnay but there is a slight richness.
Taste: Dry, medium-bodied, minerally and crisp. Tropical notes.
Food Pairing: Everything from roasted to creamy. Pair with panko-crusted cod, garlic and citrus chicken or veal in a lemon cream sauce.
Additional Notes: From vines planted on calcareous clay soils and aged between 25-30 years. Harvested in September with one-month temperature controlled fermentation in 50hl steel with ambient yeasts. Aged on lees in steel for 10 months. Filtered.
