Aroma: Aromas of sweet berry fruit, plum, vanilla and touches of cranberry, baking spice and chocolate.
Taste: The wine tastes soft, smooth and silky and is loaded with sweet cherry fruit. This is just a delight to drink. Licorice and black tea notes come out under the sweet fruit and linger on the long, dry finish.
Pairing: Best served slightly chilled with food. Earthy flavors will compliment the rich, red fruit flavors.
Additional Information: Grapes are hand-picked to avoid damaging the skins and only bunches where the grapes are spread out are chosen. Then the grapes spend three months drying out, during which they lose 15-30 percent of their volume, while the flavors become immensely concentrated.
