Aroma: Behind its deep red-purple color, this wine presents inviting and complex aromas of cherry-like fruit with earthy notes.
Taste: A touch rustic, the palate is fresh and juicy, with red cherry fruit enhanced by a great acidity.
Pairing: A lovely wine for rich dishes, pepper steak, and roasted poultry.
Additional notes: Hand-harvested in early October. Carbonic Maceration occurs with indigenous yeasts in enamel tank (separate parcels). Some pumping over might be used to stimulate activity. All wine moved to foudre to rest on lees.
